Park Trails
Trails in each of the Metroparks offer a variety of distances and experiences, from winding dirt paths through the woods and prairies, to hard-surface all-purpose trails suitable for bicycling and skating. Select a park or trail from the left-hand column.
Trail Corridors: Where trains and boats once carried goods and passengers across northwest Ohio, scenic corridors now offer miles of trails for hikers, bikers, joggers and in-line skaters. Abandoned rail and canal corridors form linear parks, preserving natural areas, linking public institutions and providing attractive places to exercise. In Lucas County, there are two "rail-trails," the University/Parks Trail and the Wabash Cannonball Trail. The Towpath Trail along the Maumee River is a canal trail connecting Farnsworth, Bend View and Providence Metroparks.
