Metroparks' property tax revenues pay the bills, allowing the Park District to maintain the high standards you expect from your parks. But to do more -- to add a new park or expand our education and preservation activities -- we need private partners. That's where our members come in.

By becoming a Partner in Preservation, you place yourself in the fields and forests protecting wildlife; you help our professional staff conserve and restore natural areas, you assist our naturalists in classrooms and workshops to educate our children and their teachers about protecting our natural resources. And you make it possible to serve more than 2 million Metroparks visitors each year.

Becoming a Metroparks Member costs just $30 for an individual or $40 for a family. Conservator or Associate's categories are available for higher levels of commitment. Metroparks memberships are tax deductible, and they make excellent gifts.
