Metroparks has been a “green” leader in Lucas County for over 80 years, preserving 10,500 acres of natural areas and inspiring preservation efforts through educational programming. Still, the park district is always looking for new ways to reduce the impact of day-to-day operations on the environment.
Even a park district can strive to be greener. Being Ecocentric means making the environment central to what we do every day.
