About The National Center for Nature Photography

It's the only one of its kind - a national center celebrating the wonders of nature through photography. A project of Metroparks of the Toledo Area, the center is located within the 600-acre Secor, part of the rare and beautiful Oak Openings Region of northwest Ohio.

Celebrate the wonders of nature with:

  • Themed nature photography exhibits
  • Master photographer shows
  • Annual contests
  • Educational programs
  • How-to classes
  • In-the-field photography experiences

The goal of the National Center for Nature Photography is to inspire reverence for natural fauna, flora and their habitats through photography, and to promote a greater understanding and support for preservation of the natural world.

Location: Secor Metropark on Central Avenue (US20), 6 miles west of US23 / I-475.

Hours: The gallery is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during special events and programs.
