It's the only one of its kind - a national center celebrating the wonders of nature and those who treasure it through photography. The center is located within the 600-acre Secor Metropark, part of the rare and beautiful Oak Openings Region.

Celebrate the wonders of nature with:

The goal of the National Center for Nature Photography is to inspire reverence for natural fauna, flora and their habitats through photography, and to promote a greater understanding and support for preservation of the natural world.

Location: Secor Metropark on Central Avenue (US20), 6 miles west of US23 / I-475.

Hours: Noon to 5 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday.

Note: The Center will be closed Saturday, December 17, 2011 through Saturday January 1, 2012. It will re-open Saturday, January 7, 2012 will all new exhibits.
