The Volunteer, a reproduction of a mule-drawn canal boat
The Isaac Ludwig Mill, a working water-powered saw and gristmill.
More than a mile of the original Miami and Erie Canal and towpath
Lock #44, one of the last functioning 19th century limestone locks.
The General Store, filled with unique gifts and collectables.
Scenic Providence Dam, constructed across the Maumee River to maintain water levels in the canal.
Characters in period attire welcoming visitors to a time gone by.

June 16 Father's Day Cruise: Dads Ride Free Forget the tie. On his special day, treat Dad to a Canal Experience. "The Volunteer", a replica 1870s canal boat, departs at 1:30 and 3 pm. Boat trips last one hour. The historic Isaac Ludwig Mill and General Store are open free of charge. A fee applies for non-fathers to ride the boat.
June 22, 10 to 11:30 a.m. What's Cooking on the Canal? Travel back in time at the Isaac Ludwig Mill to see what the Canal Boat cook is stirring up. Will they serve Johnny cakes, hard tack or duck? Visitors help prepare the menu of authentic food over an open fire and in a wood stove. All participants leave with a sampling of the meal and a collection of recipes. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Fee: $5 per person. Reservations needed. 
July 4, noon to 4 p.m. July 4th Centennial: Party Like It's 1876 Experience our nation's anniversary like never before. Big wheels will be turning at the Isaac Ludwig Mill, so stop in to see water power grind the finest flour in the county. Mingle with historic craftsmen, make your own craft or try your hand at some historic games. Board the canal boat to float back to the 1870s, and experience life along the Miami and Erie Canal. Tickets can be purchased for the boat at a nominal fee.
August 10, noon to 4 p.m. Mill Fest: The Wonders Of Woodworking The 140 year-old Isaac Ludwig Mill will be the backdrop for this day of history, crafts and fun focusing on the variety of ways to work wood. The 56 inch water-powered saw will be chewing through logs, while the same water powers a wood lathe for more detailed work. Wood carvers, shavers and hewers will be on hand as well. Save time to ride the mule drawn canal boat for a nominal fee and visit the Providence General Store.
September 14, 1 to 4 p.m. Canal Days Celebrate our region's past by spending a day in the 1800s. Craftspeople and games will be on hand for the whole family to enjoy. The Providence mules will pull you back to the 1870s, aboard an operating canal boat, and the Isaac Ludwig Mill will be in full motion grinding grain and sawing logs using nothing but the power of water. Fees apply to ride the canal boat.
October 19 Ghosts of Providence Lantern Walk Meet characters from long ago that dwell in the ghost town of Providence, Ohio. Tours depart every 15 minutes from 7 to 9 p.m. Not recommended for children under 5. Fee: $5 per person. Reservations needed.]]></description>
